Mr. Abiodun Joseph Olanrewaju was born on 27th December, 1963 in Ijero -Ekiti and attended Baptist Day School, Isokun-Oyo, Oyo State and Local Education Primary Day School, Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State between 1971-1977 for his primary education. He further is education to Annunciation Grammar School, Ikere-Ekiti and Uso Grammar School, Uso-Owo, Ondo State between 1978 – 1983 for his secondary education. He thereafter proceeded to College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti in 1987-1990 where he was awarded the Nigeria Certificate in Education in Mathematics and Economics by the Senate of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Osun State. He also attended Caleb University Imota, Lagos State from where he obtained the Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Business Administration. In 1999, he was awarded the Professional Certificate in Purchasing and Supply Management by the Nigerian Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management. He later became a Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN) in the year 2008.

Mr. Abiodun Joseph Olanrewaju started his working career in the Lagos State Public Service in 16th November, 1992 as Assistant Education Officer in the Defunct Lagos State Post Primary Teaching Service Commission (PP-TESCOM) and Teachers’ Establishment & Pensions Office where he served as Pensions Desk Officer and Head of Pensions Oracle Human Resource Unit, His service was transferred to Lagos State Pensions Commission (LASPEC) as one of the foundation staff.

Mr. Olanrewaju later converted into the Procurement Cadre effective from 18th January 2010 from where he began his tour of duty as Head of Procurement Unit is various Ministries and Agencies such as Education District IV, Cabinet Office (Defunct State Tenders Board), Lagos State Technical & Vocational Education Board (LASTVEB), and Ministry of Waterfront Infrastructure Development.

The Lagos State Civil Service Commission approved the Regularization of his Transfer of Service to the Mainstream Civil Service with effect from 11th July, 2012.

He steadily rose in status in service as he became Deputy Director in 2017.

He is happily married and blessed with children.
